The story

Two brothers. One city.

Havoc Brothers began in Skudai, Johor Bahru, in 2008: real-life siblings Mathanamurthy and Navendramoorthy, making music that sounded like the people around them.

Their songs travelled the way community music does: on Facebook, on USB drives, at family gatherings across JB and Singapore. In 2013 that loyalty broke into the mainstream when Kannaley Kollathey reached number one on both THR Raaga and Minnal FM. Since then they have released albums through Universal Music Malaysia, lent their voices to Kollywood, and built their own label and film company.

“This film is our pride, and we hope it opens doors for many more Malaysian talents.”
